interior

I am planning on swaping all the interior off a GSL into a GSL-SE.The SE interior is the tired red and the GSL's is grey and in mint condition. I was wondering if there is any difference between the interiors? First thing i noticed was the choke but i wouldnt mind having to eliminate that...i cant really think of anything else i'd have to change.
I suppose that the seats, headliner, door panels, carpet etc. would fit with no problems.I tried searching but i had no luck...I probably lack the searching skills.

btw im also eliminating all the A/C components so none of those switches would apply.

thanks in advance,
Ernys.

No other differences besides the choke, radio opening, and the controls. Push button versus slide. Other than that it works.

Actually - the GSL also has push button A/C Controls.

Not really it's a pretty straight forward swap. Just a tip for swapping everything, get small sandwich bags and label every screw/bolt/nut that you take off. Makes assembaly SIMPLE and you won't be left over with a handful of screws and improper screws in the wrong areas. Use masking tape and label all your electrical connections as you disconnect them. Will save you a MASSIVE headache when it comes time to put it all together.

I was in the same situation as you a while ago. Before and after pictures...

After (still a little dirty, wasn't completely finished yet...)

EDIT: I forgot to mention when I swapped mine I did a complete wiring harness swap at the same time. Most of the electrical connectors should be plug and go, but I can't say for sure if all of them are...

thanks guys.

Dan, I am definitely going to bag and label everything.I first had the intention of dyeing all of my interior black. So now after actually dyeing everything and having it ready to assemble,I'm left with a box full of screws and no clue where to put them all.I've learned my lesson.
