Interesting grounding hp power output
I was reading though articles of magazines yesterday and I came across this article of best mod for 99cents ... and they had a civic i think it was with a b series motor, yes I know not rotary related but they did a stock test first, and then a test with new grounding done to the igniters, and different ignition component on the engine, the result ended up in a 3whp increase, which i know doesn't sound much but, but you compare that to an intake they installed earlier which only gave them 5whp increase. bang for the buck that is a very good thing to do. I will be doing so to my other chassis when I start rewireing everything, I'm going to try to install as much relays as possible since our cars basically lack them but thats off topic.

Let us know the outcome. I know that the seat dyno won't feel it, but if you get a chance to find it out (whether it be one of those plug-into-cigarrette-lighter performance meters or what) let us know the outcome.

Good ignition is based on solid grounds. So it makes a lot of sense to fix or add grounding to our cars, especially since a lot of the motor is AL. Past threads have talked about adding grounds to increase the effectiveness of the sprark. These cars are old enough that all the electrical connections probably should be completely cleaned and sealed back up with dielectric grease to keep them from more corrosion.

I won't know anything till probably around 4 months from now or so ... lots of money spending going on some unexpected (stupid speeding tickets, atleast I knocked one down 3 points)

I was experiencing a high rpm breakup in my ignition. Changed plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, all to no avail. Today I replaced the negative battery cable and all is well again. It does make a difference...
