interest in EFI style intake manifold for 12A's?

so i'm just gauging interest here, but if there were to be a production run of some 12A efi intake manifolds... would anyone be interested??

I'm thinking something along these lines...

could do them polished, stainless... cheap ass carbon steel... you tell me, but if i see enough interest, you might see a number of them to sell

I've seen that before, it looks like it would flow very poorly.

i agree, but i would modify the plenum to smooth out the flow to the runners... i would spend some time refining the production peices, i'm just curious if there is any point in makeing more than just one for myself.

I think if someone really wanted an EFi manifold for their 12A their best bet would be to buy a Weber IDA lower manifold for their car found on ebay for $179, and at racing beat/mazdatrix for at a better quality for $250...

and then bolt to that an injection perfection Weber IDA style Throttle body for $550

thats how I would do it.

that would be my choice also.

From what I've seen log style plenums work alright for forced induction applications but I don't think it's a very good idea for n/a where flow is everything.

You are correct. By the looks of the intake pictured above, it wouldn't really be good for anything.. let alone pressure charged engines

Believe it or not, there is alot more than goes into intake design then just welding tubing together.... it is called math...
