Installing a Power Steering System

Installing a Power Steering System

I’m trying to install the power steering system on my SE, I have the system but I need some photos on the connection of the “fluid cooler pipe, control valve and the pump". Can anybody help me with some photos of these parts from an engine bay? Photos can be posted on this thread or e-mail. Thank you in advance.

Thank you,

No need for power steering on a 7. If you can't steer it, you don't need one. Just go to gym, your car will become easier to drive and you look better too!

Luis, click on trochoids link to the FSM. The info would be there. I would help you but on my SE some shithead removed the power steering.

Lol, i'm sure thats easy to say when you don't have 17x10 rims up front with 275/40/17 tires. I'm planning on using a stock PS system for the time being to see if I like the way it will work for my setup. If not i'll be searching out other solutions...

FSM has a full power steering line drawing. The cooling loop bolts to the upright tab on the tube between the frame rails.

Gym v/s PS? Let me see,!!!

Gym (yearly estimate average) initiation fee $150, plus monthly fee $50 ($50 X 12 month = $600 year), plus 1 year average gym clothing ($150 year), vitamins ($80 per month X 12= $960 year), equipment and Gatorade, or any prefer sport drink ($1.50 each X 2 drinks per workout =$3 X 4 days per week= $12 X 52 weeks (1 year) = $624 ), plus gasoline to and from gym $2 ($2 per day X 4 days per week $8 X 52 weeks (1 year)= $416, for a grand total of $2,900 per year (more or less)

P/S system $300 plus miscellaneous $200, total $500

Difference, Gym $2900 – P/S system $500 = $2400

Case of Beer (average) $15 / $2400 = 160 cases of beer (if you have the Beer the girls will come, “Murphy’s Law”)

Working on your RX-7 installing a P/S system while drinking beer with some girls and friends instead of been in the Gym,

Priceless
