Igniters

While going threw my Box of working Electrical Stuff I came across 6 Igniters and I tested them about a year ago and they all worked.
All six are J-109's.
Question is?
2 are Stamped 4104
" " " 4402
" " " 3Z04
Above the Mitsu J-109 Marking.

Are these from different Year FB's 81-85
My cuurent ones work, but I don't need to carry all 6 as backups when driving down the road.
Just curios if there's any difference.
Have a great Sat

I doubt there is any difference between them. Often electronic components have numbers like these that correspond to manufacture date, lot number, etc. I am not sure what the code the Mits used for these so we could tell which are newer/older of the bunch.

Yea I kinda figured that out Mr.Addict!
I looked thru my FSM's from 81-85 and they all had the same Part Numbers.
I'll just keep a couple of them in the glove box and be done with it.
The one marked 3Z04 kinda threw me for a loop since I've never seen that on a J-109 before.
Thanks for your input.

Nice looking engine bay. How's the weather in Eugene? I have heard of the heavy rains in Oregon. I lived in Corvallis for several years. Got my PhD at OSU. I am in France for 1 year doing work. I am tring to remember, but I think the ignitors in my GSL-SE had a Y as the second character in the numbering.

Raining as usual!
In fact it's flat out pouring right now. But the good part is that I did a Coast Run from Newport to Coos Bay on Wednesday and it was Sunney @65%. Perfect driving for a RX. Love them Curves!!!
I'm in Sales and I usaully drive my 7 when I have to go to the Coast or Central Oregon, No rain or snow for this Car.
I have a Durango to drive when it's shittie outside.
I call on 5 Paint accounts in Corvallis about once a month so I have to keep my mouth shut as to Per Beavs or Ducks. I'm nuetral to both Colleges.
You have to be here in Oregon!!! We Respect All Of Our Teams.

Do the French really Hate us that much? or is it Just Media Hype?
Enough babble for now.
PM me when you'll be back in Oregon.

P.S. In case you forgot what our coast looks like.

Looks nice, Steve. I never found good weather at the coast. Even in middle of summer when hot and clear inland, it would always look like crap at Newport. Unfortunatly, I probably won't be coming back to Oregon to live. My degree is in Nuclear Engineering and there just isn't any NE jobs in Oregon. I will probably end up on the east coast. I really do like Oregon though. My family is in Southern Oregon, so I will be down there for a bit before I move.

I don't think the French really hate us. Most are pretty nice. They may not believe in some of the political stuff the US does, but none of them have questioned me about it or anything. I have no car over here. I just walk everywhere or take the bus. Almost every car on the road is French built. They really like to stick with their own cars. It is kind of strange because there are really only 3 French manufactures, most only have a couple designs, and they don't change the style of the cars much. So you see the same couple car designs everywhere. Cars aren't really a status symbol or an extension or your personality as in the US. They are just a tool to get from A to B. Many cars are diesel here (probably 50%). That is because diesel is cheaper than gas here and you get better fuel mileage. Fuel is about 1.10 Euro/liter for diesel and around 1.20/1.30 for gas. As for weather, it is pretty nice here in the souuth of France. It is sunny nearly every day. It gets a bit cold in the morning, but afternoon is not bad. I certainly don't miss the constant rain and clouds of Oregon.

Anyway, enough off topic stuff for now. You have a nice looking 7.

That sure is a pretty looking coastline! I'm a boater, so look at it with slightly different eyes than you probably do.

Either way it beats all the snow and cold here!
