I would like to know what is the widest rear tire u can put on a stock gslse rim with out rubbing. I want to get the bf goodrich radial ta tires but i don't know how wide i can go. From what i searched i can only go 205 on the front, any help?

and also should i replace the strut mounts when installing new struts?... thanks

I am running 225 all the way around on a 7" rim w/ 40mm offset.

I have seen 245's (8" rim) in the rear with minor rolling of the fenders.

I think he is looking for the widest tire for the stock rim.

I currently have 8" rear wheels with 225 tires on them. This requires fender rolling though. This setup is brand new and currently for sale (shameless plug).

Since the stock rim is only 5.5 inches wide I wouldn't recommend putting anything wider than a 205 on there.

215 looks cool... but don't go beyond it (for stock wheel) 215 60 14... no rub or anything..

Get 215/60 all around and you can get some nifty old school white letter tires!

or was it 225/60....
