How to set timing, took out dizzy and took off pulley, lost track of the marks.......

Well, I took out the dizzy, and took off the front pulley and other things to clean the motor, and it didnt dawn on me that I would loose the timing spot....... I am not worried about the dizzy, cause i can set that, but I need the pulley to be in the correct spot first........ :(

So, how can i put the pulley on showing the correct timing mark in the correct spot?

Thanks in advance, Off to work on the clutch, bye bye

If you accidentally remove the pulley from the hub and your not sure how it goes back on in relation to the timing marks??? The pen is pointing right between the two marks. :)

I had the same problem until someone here told me to put the rear rotor in such a way that one of its apex seals is right in between the Trailing and Leading spark plug holes. That would be approximately the TDC, you can line it up from there. Just use a mirror and a flash light to find the apex seal. Good luck

umm... thanks rx7 carl.... but.... I removed the black piece...... the pulley itself..... now the pully holder....

now how the fuck do i line it all up again?

should it matter since it fires like every 90* or whatever it is, or what?

the hub piece is still on the motor............ but... there is 4 different ways to put the pulley back on..... i dunno
