Not sure how much I have spent. Lets see:

-$50 for brake and fuel lines
-$100 for new rear brake rotor
-$450 for exhaust
-$100 for used radiator
-$100 for rear one piece wrap around spoiler
-$50 for primer and rubberized undercoating
-$60 for welding tank
-$50 for wiring (not sure, havent done it yet but needs to be done)
-$40 for carb rebuild kit
-$200 for winter tires
-$150 for door seals
-a few other parts that I haven't looked into yet
-having fun while spending the money, priceless.

In all, I have spent about $1350. There will be more, but thats all I can think of right now. That doesn't include the $500 purchase of the car. That is all canadian currency too.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that is I add in the stuff I got for free, I could add another $1650. I got an E-fan for free. Probebly worth about $150. Then the gas tank. It isn't a direct fit, but it works. An OEM tank for this is about $800 american, which is about $1500 canadian from mazdatrix.

How many forum members does it take to change a lightbulb?

1 to change the light bulb and 1 to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
5 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
17 to flame the spell checkers
10 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb"
... another 6 to condemn those 6 as ****-retentive
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
8 to email the participant's ISPs complaining that they are in violation of their "acceptable use policy"
5 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
9 to demand that cross posting to hardware forum, off-topic forum, and lightbulb forum about changing light bulbs be stopped
4 people to post. can this be made a sticky?
1 new forum member to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again

And it's still not complete, another 15,000 and I should have everything that I want.

Yup. That's it. These cars are easy and cheap to work on, and the pleasure of owning and driving such a car is priceless.

I did the same post less than a month ago. I guess the starter of this thread didn't bother searching. It had almost the exact name too.
