How much?

how much you would pay for a 84' gsl with some body damage and needs a rebuild because of the coolant seal?

Mazda12AGS 02-08-06 10:12 PM

I only paid $300 for mine with no body damage and all it needed was a starter. Mine is an 84 GS. So I would say a couple of hundred max.

lots of fish in the sea..and you catch a dead fish...(honestly I would not touch it).. tell you what..take one week..look around..look on this forum, cruise the classifieds,internet..you will find better than a body damaged, non running car..maybe around the same kind of money you will get something that actually runs and has a body..If you jump at the first thing that comes your way ..you may end up kickin yourself in the ass later..I'm not tryin to screw up your purchase..just tryin to get you to consider the alternatives..you will be investing in this car..hard earned money..if it's a money pit right off the bat..I hope that you are rich..(sorry for harsh stuff..just voicin my opinion..that's why you asked, right?)

i guess it depends on what you are looking for and how much you wanna spend

Rx7carl 02-08-06 11:25 PM

How much damage and where? And more info on the true condition would help. Interior, paint, history, location, etc.

gsterror 02-08-06 11:29 PM

On the base of what you told us. . . I'd say that I'd take it off his hands for free. Honestly.

joker90p 02-10-06 02:01 PM

it has 170k miles, the guy said he dosent know the history of the car because he bought it to be his race car. which is why im wantin it.

Alex-7 02-10-06 02:04 PM

You could part it for ~$500 if it's complete.

I wouldn't give more that $100 for it.

capt murph 02-10-06 02:39 PM

ditto $100

Hades12 02-10-06 03:00 PM

200 or less, as a parts car.

seldawg 02-10-06 03:46 PM

I would pay.......................nothing. Just like everyone else said, parts car. Look around and you will find a better deal.
