Thank you “legokcen”. I was looking for this book and in amazon.com they’re asking $299.00 for a used book. Thank you again; I already got it in my PC.

Wow nice find, at first I thought this thread was going to be like "I just found out there is a book called, how to modify your RX-7...."

Thank you for the reading material!

Damn! I didnt realize this book was so sought after! I have a few copies in my attic.

DivinDriver 06-12-10 03:11 PM

It's DL'able from sgt. Fox's sig, too. I used a paper for my first rebuild - most helpful!

indio84 06-13-10 02:20 PM

do you mean this one?

I've been in search of this book for almost two years now and I do not have the money to pay almost 200 dollars for this book. Is there anyway anyone could refresh this so I can download it or PM it to me or something please?

Thank you in advance.

craaaazzy 09-02-14 10:25 AM

you can still get it from the following site...

foxed.ca is awesome. I've tried to download most of the manuals onto my hard drive, but I am going to cry someday if that site ever goes down. Try to constantly download things because it will be nearly impossible to find some of this stuff if it ever goes missing. GREAT collection of stuff there.

i've got a couple more things to add, i just haven't felt like spending a day scanning stuff.

actually the hard part is not having a list of books, so we don't know what we don't have!

DivinDriver 09-02-14 08:05 PM

I've got a stack of Rotary Rocket and RX Reports to scan for 80sOldSchool, who in turn plans to offer them to Foxed.ca

So far I've done one. Its tedious, as the originals are fragile. & 50 pages thru a flat-bed is about an hour's work.

mazdaverx713b 09-03-14 01:13 AM

I have that book. It covers all three generations but only gives advice on what parts to replace for small improvements. Its pretty basic and fives basic modification information. Its a decent read. Ive have the book for a long time. Its an older book.

DivinDriver 09-03-14 10:10 AM

I did my first rotary rebuild with "How to Modify" as my only available reference - no forums back then (not even an internet, really - it was the early 90's) and I didn't get the chance to buy a FSM reprint until later. It got the job done. Still have my paper copy.

the Haynes book has lots of info, and it's cheap on Ebay. I also found the original Savanna manual in Yahoo auctions Japan.
