How many amps run through the coils and through the alternator?

I have a 25 amp switch for the coils, I'm wondering if that will be sufficient, or if its gonna fry... and I'm also wondering how much power the alternator puts out, so if anyone has that info please let me know :)

I will be pull starting (yes, like lawnmower pull start, haha) the engine, so I will be running with no battery and no starter for weight reduction purposes. Will I need a voltage regulator or anything of the sort, or will the system be fine the way it is?

Lol, best of wishes on pull starting......

as for the coils, 25 amp switch should be fine. current only flows through the alternator as it is demanded.

Are you going to rig up a magneto some day? That would be interesting.

Make sure to use a "slo-blo" type fuse.
