Supposedly all you have to do is pull away the colored liner. But I don't have any personal experience with it.

I like the look myself, but am not willing to spend:

Thats $110 plus shipping. If I can do it myself, then great. If I can't, then I will eat it,
and get a set myself. Everybody has had a positive experience with Jose Reyes products and gauges, so you can't go wrong either way.

Take em off (coupla' screws) put em in two cups boiling water. Cover with lid. Let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes or until water is adsorbed.

    Rice on, oops, right on.

I was just about to post that I took one side marker off, and I was going to see if anything would come off. It didn't look like I could do anything about it.

    Then, you post:

Are you serious? That's it? Have you done this or seen it done? If I screw it up, you owe me a side marker light!!

The stock ones have the dye integrated into the plastic. The only way to make them clear is to have clear lenses made, as José has done.

Light Emission Diodes, like on brand-new cars, that replace the normal light bulbs in your brake and turn signal lights.

90% efficient (using only 1/10th the power of stock bulbs), no warm-up time, brighter, etc.

Not nice, you know someone read this and ruined their lenses but now feels dumb and won't fess up to it.

Then again, now that they need new lenses, they can get their clear ones, so maybe your diabolical plot worked after all.

No, I didn't go through with it, although it did sound reasonable.

I was waiting for BrounMounds' confirmation before I attempted it, only to find out later I was hooked, Line and Sinker.

After carefully reviewing the lens, I think there is no option other than buying them ready made, or making the cheap flourescent lighting kind

    Guess I'll be calling Jose...
