Holley gurus....

Since I'm cheap (and have a big money sucking project), I'm going to put a holley 600 on my 12A.

I don't need a manifold, as I have an aluminum spacer, and can simply weld it up to the existing manifold.

What I am looking for are jet suggestions. This is a box stock Holley 4160 singe feed carby. I'm going to go ahead and rebuild it, and since it'll be open, I figured I could at least get it close to the jetting it will need.

Exhaust system is a DIY header, 2" piping duals back to the axle, into a collector, 3" over, into a muff. The duals have individual bullet silencers on them, dynomax 3" muff.

What kind of jets do I need?

Oh yea, any way to keep the oil injection? Maybe weld a nipple or 2 onto the intake manifold, or what?

my guess is that you will lose power puting the holley on the nikki manifold. Doesn't sound too great for flow to me, even with a decent spacer. As far as the jets, i'd start at 65's in the front and read the plugs/rejet from there. You might just want to bite the bullet on this one and buy a decent manifold.

I may end up buying a mani if I can find one used/cheap. I'll be swapping a 302 in this thing in the next 4-5 months, so I don't wanna toss to much cash in the garbage.

The stock nikki that is on there is in need of a complete refurbishing... maybe I can do a few tricks to it myself and simply get by with that.

Other idea is that I can weld up the mani and port it accordingly so that it would be a smooth transition from the holley, that might work as well no?
