looks prety nice though. aside from the flat black, i like it. it looks well cared for. well done!

MattG 04-05-06 12:12 AM

Lookin good!

Naegleria_Fowleri 04-05-06 12:27 AM

Yeah, it definitely looks like a clean car, but I would have to paint it a gloss black, or a factory color. The flat black thing just doesn't do it for me....

3rd and final 7 04-05-06 12:47 AM

Looks pretty clean i like, id like it more if it was either all flat black or all gloss black but thats just my opinion. nice clean eng bay!

TiViD 04-05-06 07:24 AM

thats funny cause i was just looking fort pictures of a flat black FB :) looks great. not a big fan of the lines but they dont look all that bad

1146cc 04-05-06 07:47 AM

thanks guys. to be honest, i was just seeing what i could do as far as painting it. Im actually waiting to get a spray kit and i want paint it red or CYM.

The first pic has the Mazda emblem on the front and no stripes and the rest have no emblem and stripes, and the engine bay shots have gloss paint on the car still, Im confused as to what it looks like now...?

Anyway, looks like the body is straight, the engine bay is decently clean, no pics of the interior though, but if its in the same kind of shape as the rest, its probably pretty nice too! Looks good for the most part, I like flat black, but I dont like the rattle can flat black, you can see the variations in it too much. Keep up the good work and take care of it!

TJ are you the same TJ from MySpace on the Rx7Club there??? lol. Sorry if its not you. haha

First pic was before the stripes on it. Then I just posted random pics of the car that I had. The paint is just something I've been messing with. Nothin major but Im pretty happy with the job I did. The motor shot was from 2 weeks ago before I painted it. Thats why its still glossy.

Hey that actually is pretty clean man. I like the flat black for what it is. How long did it take you to finish that? I'm going through my car prepping for paint too. Every time I think I'm close I find another ding or dent I want perfect before I spray it. I'm thinking a nice red too. :)

hahaha oh yeah your right on that.

Hey I have a question.

How would I stick side molding back on? Like a part or it is lifting up, what holds on? I tried bondo, thats a neg, anyone wanna help me out here?

Kentetsu 04-07-06 12:23 AM

Look for a product called "Seals All" at your local parts store.

trochoid 04-07-06 01:34 AM

Side moulding is held on by a double sided tape. Check with your local autobody paint supplier. 3M makes it.

DwArF 04-07-06 02:19 AM

I seen your car on your myspace!
