Help with pulley centre nut.

The 19 mil bolt through the centre of the pain pulley. Can't get it off and need the pulley out. I just end up turning the engine. Anybody know how to lock the engine/get the bolt off some easier way.

Jam the flywheel with a piece of metal and you will be able to get the front pulley off.It only has 90 lbs of torque. It might have lock tight so you might need to heat it up. I haven't run into that problem yet.

The pulley is held on by 4 bolts, the large nut has nothing to do with the pulley, DO NOT loosen it or you will have more problems than you bargained for. That pulley usually rusts tight to the pulley hub. Remove the 4 bolts, spray with PB Blaster then tap on it until it comes loose.

Life saver.
3 of the 4 bolt heads twisted off, so now I need to extract them somehow but the first pulley popped off with some hammering and prying. The double pulley only wiggled, as it still has bolts going through it. I'm going to need to pull my rad to get these bolts out, but it's better than having to pull the engine. Thanks dudes.
