Help me pick some wheels

Alright, I'm enlisting the help of the 1st gen section for this. Now I know some of you are purists and say I should only put panasport of other old school style rims, but lets save that arguement for another thread. Here are what I'm looking at.

Rota Subzero - gunmetallic, no polished lip

http://www.jaydm.com/assets/img_thum...blksubside.jpg
Rota Circuit 8 - gunmetal with polished lip
http://www.jaydm.com/assets/img_thum...nmtlsidec8.jpg
Ideally I'd like gunmetal Subzero's w/ a polished lip, but those aren't available. I can get any solid color on either wheel, but only those options with a polished lip, and I like the lip :blue:

FYI, here is the car (picture it with black tinted windows as well) and the wheels are going to be 16x7's (pictured are 14's)

Ok, the polished lip looks good, but I don't care as much for the curved spokes of the Circuit 8's. Given the choices listed here, I'd have to go with the Subzero in Gunmetal despite the lack of a lip...

Not on the List.. But These!

INFO ON THEM HERE

If Not, The Roto 8 style.

I looked at the Konig Imagine's but I don't want to go all the way up to 17's, and their black pearl is a tad flashier than I want.. Aren't those heavy too? The subzeros are 14lbs, the C8's are 14.5...

They look kiiler on Max7's car though.... I envy it. (besides, they're $$$)

Here we again with the thoughts on the GSL-SE Suspension swap, oiy.

If you want my opinion (which, given the thread title, I'm assuming you do), I would go with Volk Racing TE-37s in bronze with like 14-16 inch diameter. That's my 2c.

volks!!!!

I think he's looking for something less expensive than Volk. ;)

I think the Circuit 8 is the better match for your car.

Felix Wankel 08-15-02 07:13 PM

Subzero, black with the polished lip. Hell, I want them for my car :D

Dorks....he's asking A, B or C, not your opinions...like he said, start another thread....I say go with "A" for a proper Spoon look...

JIMMY54 08-15-02 08:04 PM

B all the way!!!

ok, so I'm gathering that there is no clear cut winner on this one.... Everyone seem to be pretty equal

79+80_rx-7 08-16-02 01:12 PM

if you could find a flat picture of one, like on ebay or somthing, then you could see what each one looks like on your car with the magical help from Windows Paint :p:

hahaha

LATERZ, Andrew...

PS, I think C would look the VERY best!!!!

Peace:peace:
