im having some trouble with my 83, its a 12a, it will crank and run, (for about 10-15 minutes), when it dies, its making some undescribable noises from the engine bay........when it does run it idles and revs just fine. it will even drive, untill it dies...im thinking its a heat issue....but what??? any ideas are greatly apperciated

What exactly does it do when it dies out?

Have you checked to see if the carb's flooding up?

Sounds like fuel related problem to me.
