have you ever noticed
Have any of you ever noticed how hardcore the 7 looks with the front bumper off? I took mine off to work on the cracked paint a little and to straighten out the duct work on the car. I didn't notice how it looked at first, but I drove up to it today and thought, "damn, that looks kinda hardcore". Ah, it's probably hell on the areo dynimics though.

i thought it would be cool to remove it and create a custom fiberglass wrap, ala 240z's
YES, I've been looking a my Z motorsport book trying to figure how hard that would be.

Got any pics?
I'll put up a pic tomorrow when I get some daylight.
I'm not sure if I feel the same today, but when I look at the car in person it still looks neat, but this pic makes it look bad.
thats not mean lookin, this is:
i even drove it a half an hour to school for one day cause my other car wouldnt start (83 t-bird):hahaha:https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...chmentid=29046 |
Yep, I've been there too man, with a '84 SE. Even if they look bad they're still great to drive.
And it's damn scary how light the frontend becomes without the bumper assembly! While putting the '80 back together, I'd take it for a spin around the neighborhood sans hood and bumper. With the cut springs and Tokico inserts, that front end was jumping on all the corners if i had any rough pavement at all...felt like a damn kit car...
Yeah man that does look really mean! Reminds me of some of those porsches. If only i knew their model names tho...
