Hard plastic fuel or vacuum lines to carb - where to buy??
What are these for and where do I buy new ones? I broke them replacing my thermostat.

Those are the oil lines from the Oil Metering Pump (OMP) to the carb.
Far as I know, it's "dealer or fabricate" time if you break them, unless you can repair them by bonding appropriate sized tubing over the breaks. Surely not available as aftermarket parts. Or you might be able to score some used ones. |
IIRC there should be a topic on how to make a set using teflon tubing that you get when you buy mechanical oil pressure gauges and such, I've seen a few people make them that way. They aren't prefit and they don't bend very well but they will work.

I wouldn't drive the car very far without them fixed. you'll pump oil over everything where they are broke and also deprived the seals of oil. A quick fix would be to get some black rubber hose that just fits over, put some supper glue on the clear tubing and slip the black rubber tubing over ther clear tubing.
If you have to drive it, you could premix to ensure the engine get lubed correctly. |

Thanks chaps... I haven't driven it since they were broken. Replacing the radiator and coolant level sensor after it popped out from overheating ripping all the plastic threads on it. Hopefully everything will be ok and I can get it up and running.

Ah bummer, I just threw 2 sets out in the trash last week.
