Gauge cluster lights out... bypass?
Hey a couple months ago i fried my gauge cluster lights and shit around it... no my gauges still work... but the lights dont... i was told you can bypass it... by connecting the wires in the fade switch... becasue i think thats whats wrong... cuz a friend told me so... ... this is how it happened... i was messing around with my shifter, and when i put it back in none of my lights worked... someone told me i connect the female and male ends near the shifter and that fried my fade switch... so i'm going to try and fix it... but when i took it out... there are 2 red wires and 1 black... so whichs ones do i connect? i'm thinking the black in ground and the reds are power... and just connect the reds and then ground the black... i dont know... help me out to try and fix this... i must see my gauges!! lol
Thanks Cory |

switch
Good for you figuring it out. Now look for a new switch, remember it's a protected
circuit bypassing it is a temporary solution. if anything happens in the wiring their is nothing to prevent the wiring from doing the toast and marshmellow roast.LOL. rx7doctor |
