Fuseble Links does the color Matter
I am replacing the three fuseble links in the engine compartment. I went and bought two brown and one black fuseble links. I am wondering if the color matters because the ones on the car now are grey, white and beige, the haynes workshop manual doesn't specify if the color matters, but I just want to make sure before I do anything.

They have different ratings. The heavier one goes in the main. I have yet to find an amperage rating on them. They are listed by wire size in the FSM and Haynes.

Assuming youre not talking about an -SE, you should have two browns and a black. The "Main" curcuit should have the black link, the "Retractor" and "Headlight" circuits both have brown links.
