In a funk

So I'm working on the FB, and I'm getting a litte frustrated, it seems to be going SOOO slow, I look at it sometimes and just say "screw it I'll go watch TV." What do you guys do when you just have no gusto for your project to get yourself back in the mood to work on them

I've got several "busy" lists I made of all the things that could be possibly done to any of the three cars and the garage and its various work benches. I just get something to drink, crank up the CD player in the garage and do one of the tasks listed on one of those sheets...that's usually enough to get me started tackling the car in hand again...you just need a breather from the project at hand but you don't actually want to sit down in AC comfort or you're a goner.

grab a beer and drink it, turn on some Maiden and I am back in the mood :)

I'm right there with you. 104 damn degrees out, and I try so many things only to have the car not start, and I get so frustrated. I just go chill out, try to cool off for a few, and think about how fun it's going to be when I get to finally drive a rotary!

Yeah, I've never driven one...

I don't work on the car for weeks on end.

You probably shouldn't follow my example, then. ;)

But seriously, I do it because when the car is on the road and running well, it's a really great feeling. Doubly so when you turn in a good lap time at an event.

It's gotta be old Maiden though, the latest CD, makes me wanna punch babies

But yeah I think it would be easier to work on if I had a fan in there, I it is Texas in near summer. I almost passed out a few days ago working on it.

Neither have I, but I can't wait for my 1st ticket for having a car too low, too loud, too fast, or too scary.
