Fuel Tank Opinions???

Good day gentlemen, and the few ladies we do have her from time to time..... I'm in the midst of doing a little research into my next project and wanted to gather some oppinions as to which route i should take regarding my choice of fuel tanks,or more specifically fuel delivery. Plans for the car are as follows...

1.) Fuel injection using a TWM sidedraft TB bolted to my current RB wraparound mani, replacing the Mikuni, and being run by a Megasquirt 1 v3.0. (still haven't decided weither or not to go fuel only or fuel & Ign.. but that's another story.

2.) The second half of the project will be completed a few months after installing/tunning the MS-EFI system but will include:

S4 Turbo Mani, ported wastegate and the likes...
S4 Stock Turbo (as soon as my neighbor FINALLY upgrades to his T40..)
Isuzu NPR FMIC with 3" piping
and of course my super-sweet HKS SSQ BOV, left over from my totalled SRT-4

Now,here's my dilemna..... my car is an 81 GSL, hence no in tank fuel pump, no slosh cup etc.... My concern comes in when running the fuel injection set-up both prior to boost AND especially once boosted. I'm afraid of fuel moving away from the fuel pick-up and me getting an air bubble in the fuel lines leading to a lean condition, and well you can do the math. Obvious solution some would say is to install an SE tank, however theese can be a bit difficult to come by in any decent shape. My research has steered me a little more towards a fuel cell set-up, mounted in the stock tank lcation. But I still have reservations about this, most of if not all the tanks I'm looking at do have the pick-ups/sump located at the bottom of the tank and towards the rear, BUT all of them would require the use of an external pump and I'm also not sure if they have any sort of baffling inside the tank to prevent fuel slosh/starvaton.

I guess what I'm getting at is,what have other guys done to combat this problem, and what's the easiest/most cost efficient way to go about it. I have seen a post of someone installing the pick-up from a second gen, I believe, into a 12a tank, but I'm not too keen on the idea of cutting or welding anything on or around my gas tank, for obvious reasons.... thanks in advance for the input guys.

Mod the tank. It's a quick job, and can be done without welding. See here:
