Fuel and injection hose question???

What is the size of the 2 fuel hoses that go from the fire wall in tho that metal tubing next to the rats nest on the GSLSE. Also what is the size of the ones that goes in to the fuel rail (emissions pipe), and to my understanding they all have to be high pressure????

Patience, grasshopper.

the Fuel Injection Feed and Return lines are the ones that go from the firewall to the Fuel Rail under the DEI Chamber. These MUST be fuel injection rated hoses, as they carry about 45-50psi of fuel pressure, compared to about 3-5psi with a carbeurated engine. If you use regular, unrated fuel hose like for your lawnmower on a fuel injection system you're risking the fuel line breaking and spraying gas all over your hot engine.

Been nice knowing you if you go that route.

Head down to your local auto parts store and show them the hose you've removed - the Feed and Return are the same size, and just buy a few feet of Fuel Injection Hose. It's marked on the side of the hose 'FUEL INJECTION HOSE'.

Good luck,

...the return isnt under pressure

It's good to use fuel injection hose on send and return because it doesn't go bad. The cheaper hose gets hard and tends to leak once it's been exposed to gas. I went for fuel injection hose on both my send and return.

Thank you masters i couldn't fint the exact hose. All could find was bigger or smaller and the small one was too tight i i used the bigger one i think it was 5/16 or sumthin and put some clamps at the end. The hose is rated for 250 psi working pressure and 1000psi burs
