Any rules to worry about?

Depends on class you wanna run and or local track rules.

its bone stock btw and my gas tank is all rusted so i figured i'd just upgrade to something that wouldn't rust

If your car is bone stock with no future plans, i would try to avoid a fuel cell as it is quite a hassel ( i know from experience). Chances are that you will need to cut out your spare tire well in order to properly mount it and have access to the fill on top. Then you will need a new fuel sending unit (stock will not work due to foam inside the tank). plus all the new fuel lines.

But if you dont mind all the work, most performance shops have/can get them. Try Jegs.com, Summitracing.com

yeah im thinking that a fuel cell is not really what im looking for maybe in the future but right now im good on just a replacement tank.
i was also thinking about acid washing and zing coating the tank i have now.

probably the least expensive option

I was in the same situation a while ago. I went with the restored fuel tank, my only complain is that i'm running a fuel injected setup and running dual intank pumps. The setup is more complicated than it needs to be and simplicity is key.

Mounting a fuel cell and having it be safe on a street car is no easy task...
