Front suspension back finally!!!
 

Well I finally got the front struts back after having coilovers, king springs and koni shocks put on them and I'm really happy on how they turned out.

So now I've got adjustable suspension in the front and only have the brakes and shocks to do on the rear. Also I've been trying to track down a shifter.... is there any way I can figure out what gearbox I have. The guy that I originally bought it off reckons it was a 12AT but he had no idea. I've found that a series 4 n/a shifter will fit in and I ended up getting a series 4 turbo short shifter. Stupid me, should have checked to see if they were different. So now I've got a spare S4 short shifter and still unable to change gears...

S4 turbo's shifter shouldn't be any different, i have a S4 Turbo shifter for my FB, fits right in... u might have a S5 shifter, thats when they changed...

On the instructions that came with it is says for Series 4 & 5 turbo gearboxes only. I haven't actually tried to fit it yet, just compared it to a n/a series 4 and they are different. I'll try and get a pic up comparing them.

i had a S4 TII, thats where i got my shifter from, and i also had a S4 TII with S5 drivetrain, its shifter was much different... tho i'm not certain the ball on bottom was different, but i'm pretty sure it is..

Very nice. Are you in Brisbane? Who did the coil overs and how much if you don't mind me asking?

Toowoomba, so not too far away. They cost me $250 but that's obviously not the price of parts that's only labour for the guy that did them. I got them done at Profab Custom Engineering. Jeff is the guy that works there and he can be contacted on 46301600. Didn't look like he had much help so you might be waiting a while if you want him to do any work.

do you have coilovers in the back also?
