Front bearing repacking w/ new rotors

I just got some new rotors and I am wondering how the hell I get the angled metal ring the bearing slides around in inside the rotor cylinder. I got the outer one in just fine but the inner bearing ring does not want to slide all the way down to the stop sill inside the bearing and is stuck half way. Thanks in advance!! :)

I used a scrap screw driver (ground down square) and tapped the race (angled metal ring) at three different points until it seated completely.

The race is on the left.

Use a brass drift pin, something large like 1/2". It's strong enough to punch it out but soft enough to not damage the metal. You have to be careful to not nick the walls the race slides out of. Also when you get it out the old race, reuse it to punch the new one back in place.
