found cheap rotors

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33564

i have been looking for these for awhile and found them last night...i emailed him and he said that he can get them in 4x110...does anyone else have these or am i going to be a geniea pig with these rotors?? theres also just front rotors for anyong that has drums in the rear

SS124A 01-23-05 03:27 PM

that price is so cheap, it doesn't leave any excuse to retain the stock rear drums

QuagmireMan 01-23-05 05:27 PM

i was thinking the other type of rotors :P

DAVID GRIMES 01-23-05 06:54 PM

That is a sweet price. I have a new set of non-slotted ( stock ) rotors that I wish were those. Good find.

By the way they describe them it sounds like one don't need any mods to install them. For example, you can still use the stock calippers. Is that right?

Rusty Shackleford 01-23-05 08:23 PM

im gussing its that way....is it possible that they just use stock beck arnely rotors and then drill and slot them.?? or does that need to be done during the process of forming

82transam 01-23-05 08:38 PM

oh yea, i found that ad a while back, emailed him and he claims to be able to get rotors for any rx7. Great price I agree, I'll probably go with then on my project when the time draws near

soulja77 01-23-05 11:23 PM

yeah, excellent price!!! I will eventually get them.

Hey Rusty did you order them? I just got done with my paypal transfer, 175.00 shipped. Hopefully all will go well. Now to find some pads.

Rusty Shackleford 01-30-05 10:28 PM

no i havnt ordered them yet im short on money flow....i have school to worry about but i need to get those im going to get hp hawk pads around and new rear calipers since on my rear end i bought one is seized and one is rusty

Tech_Greek 01-30-05 10:32 PM

200 for all sides, NOT bad at all because I thought they were usually about 150 a wheel?

Are these worth the investments?

I try to go cheap wherever plausible, but I can't see myself trusting such cheap brakes. I guess when someone else (one of the people here) tells me they're good in three or so years, after using them that long, I'd be able to trust them.
