Flooded (1982 Rx-7)

Guys any input please...

Car started ok...three weeks ago for a couple of days.. strait.
On the third day...while idling, there was black smoke..(to rich in gas) then she backfired then latter stalled.

Tried 3 times we did this:
-Removed plugs (dried them with propane torch)
-Removed Fuel Pump fuse
-Carnked the engine over many times (without the plugs) lots of gas vapor shot out.
-Squirted ATF tranny oil inside Trailing and Leading (inside spark plug holes)
Put back Plugs and the Fuse.
Car almost started...but didn't.

The plugs are new from last summer, so are the coils, the car even started good this winter.
We know it's flooded...the plugs are wet when removed.
How may times do we need to repeat the above process ?
What are the chances that one plug..is no good...their new from last year.
Do you need new plugs if it's too flooded ?

Any help is greatly appriated.

Note: Posted on Cdn forum as well..

regards

Get new plugs.

Check your rotor and cap for wear and coression.
Make sure you battery is up and it never hurts to connect a second one to it when trying to start it.

Check the carb and make sure the float is not stuck.

Pull start.
