Finding a Tokico blue strut for my FB.

I got Pauls replacement strut assembly installed today, but they couldn't put the tokico back in because it was damaged in the wreck. Can someone save me some time and help find the best price on a single replacement front strut for my '84 GSL? I'm on a slow computer with a slow connection.

How old was your strut?

I would be worried just replacing one strut and having one new and one old? Dont know how the ride will be...

maybe shox.com? i know they sold me a replacement when i blew one of them.

www.genxmuscle.com sells blues singularly. As stated, I would not replace just one if the other is more than a year old..........Good time to go with adjustables too:)

Mazdatrix has Tokico Blues for $72.44, cheaper than VB even.

I have Blues on my SE and am very happy with them - they are quiet on smooth roads and require no adjustments. If you're into autocrossing, you may want to go with 5-way adjustables, but these are primarily designed to lengthen service life, so that as they wear out, you can dial them up to keep them functioning at peak performance.

For street driving, Blues are much better than stock, but a bit harsher until they get broken in. For the money, you can't go wrong - and I would do both at the same time to get the maximum benefit out of ride quality. HTH,

not tokico but..... cheap koni adjustables

altho i would recomend getting a set. haveing one older one and a new one will put more stress on the new one and ware it out faster.

I don't know. I don't want to put too much money into the car now, and I think the struts only had about 30k miles on them. I figure 20k miles from now it won't make any difference?

I got all 4 (new) on ebay for $140.
