Few questions about autopower roll bar

Thinking of getting a autopower roll bar from a fellow forum member, he thinks its the race bar, but isn't sure, and will provide pics for me when he gets the chance. Anyway, My question is this, will my seats still be able to go back all the way? I've done quite a bit of searching on here, but there doesn't seem to be a clear answer... I'm 6'-3" so having the seats all the way back and the back angled a bit back is a must for me to comfortably drive my 7. Building a 13bt powered 83 and a roll bar would be a good idea, but being able to fit in the thing is important too ;) Once he sends me pics I'll post them here, but does anyone know off hand? Thanks
Sean

ok, he has told me that its identical to max7's bar shown in post #11 of this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/i-need-street-roll-bar-recommendation-389085/

Nope...Im 5'6 and driving my other FB with autopower rollbar (it was originally a cage but I made it into a 4point) is very uncomfortable.

Hmm, I guess I have the way it mounts in the car pictured incorrectly in my head, I can't see why it affects how far back the seat goes. Does the bar mount to the floor of the car in front of that "cross memeber" just behind the seats, or farther back in the bin area?

You cant fully recline due to the cross bar as shown below. You can leave the boxes but remove the lid. However, I just ditch them boxes since I dont like micky mouse job. :)

Hmm, so the seats still slide all the way back, but just don't recline as far... After thinking about it some more after my last post thats kinda what I was thinking. The bins don't matter as the battery and other things will be located back there, so that will be customized anyway.

cool. i have the autopower street roll bar. kinda useless and kinda reassuring at the same time. btw i like your seats wacky.

edit: you can look at the other cages here. http://www.autopowerindustries.com/

The Auto power is a bolt in setup. Competition Engineering sells a weld in one that can be modded to bolt in. That's what I have in mine and the main hoop is welded to the bottom of the bind so I have a bit more room. Still can't recline the seats a lot, but enough to be comfortable.

So with the seat slid all the way back you can still recline it a few inches? Cause thats about how far I recline it, don't need much...

Yeah, there may be a pic in my wide body thread that shows how far the seat reclines. I don't have the base all the way back on the rails though.
