ideal tire size etc..

in response to all the email from forum mebers regarding the flares..here is the information. Ideal tire size for the flares, 225 all around you can go bigger in the back however, wheel would like to be 4-5 inch back space ideally(front and rear). Yes cutting the fender beneath is a could idea, but not always necessary. They will not crack on the car unless terribly over tightened. Here is a little picture..enjoy, info@cpracing.ca for more information.

excuse the car..getting ready for paint.

So 4" bs front, and 5" bs rear?

anywhere from 4 to 5 front or rear will work well.

Are you from CP racing? If so whats up with your website? I get url unavailible. Thanks

I dont think 5" bs will work in the front, even with coil overs. I run 4 and its damn close to the spring.

that car in the picture is a 5 inch back space with a 225 and it fits no problems, with no spacers.

Rx7carl 03-20-04 02:58 PM

I guess you get a bit more without the coilovers.

I still think 5" bs in front won't fit. I hope they do. I won a set of rims from ebay with 5" bs and will test once I get my car from paint.
