Fender flares
Is it just me or do the black tie motors group c flares not look quite rite?
In looking to buy a set, they seem to be pretty damn hard to find these daya |
Lot of folks use the 24/6/80Z flairs on our cars.

The Black Tie ones seem to be intended to be used with their Kamei front air dam replica instead of the classic Group C front air dam. For that full Group C classic look, you'd have to try and source all 6 parts - all 4 flares, large rear wing and matching (integrated) front air dam.
There's a company in Australia that makes kits that are readily available, but wants nothing to do with shipping the parts over here. Alexis at Fibremaz was in discussions with me at one point to try and get some replica kits made and sent over here for sale. That hasn't happened yet, still holding out hope though. I've got 240z ZG flares on mine and they work well for having wider wheels under my car for sure. Someday I'd love to do a Group C replica, but that's most likely a ways down the road. |
The blacktie flares look more rounded to me. The group c flares seem to have sharper angles that I like better.
zg stuff is to small. Maybe I can just make my own out of sheet metal. Was just hoping for an easy button part |

I just found cinched and was coming to report them as a source.
Still pretty damn expensive for what you get.. |
