FD muffler on FB

Thought I would try and get a response in here. Has anyone ever tried to put on the RB muffler for an FD on a FB? I want to do this mainly for looks. Want the same dual tip, polished muffler, same time want it flow more for deeper tone. Also considered FC, but want to keep the dual tip look. Plan is doing this to my 83 12A stock port, performance not real key, just wondering about how it will look and sound. Any input is appreciated.

I dont know for sure about the sound and flow. But if it will fit in the space available and you can have piping bent to go over the axle it shouldnt be a problem. You will probably have to make custom hangers for it. Although there have been alot of people that were pleased with the RB muffler for the FB. and it has pretty much the same dual tip look you want.

I figured it would fit, I had a huge off brand free flow muffler on my previous 7. I believe that everybody would be pleased with the RB product. The main thing I wanted was the full polished look and the tips that say RACING BEAT. As far as the custom work to put it in, easily done at local exhaust shop. Thanks for the response orion84gsl.

We installed in one of our old school with 13-B streetport. Its just way too loud.
