FB rear fender well rust
 

I will be working to repair some rust in the rear fender well area. The rear upper and lower mount points are somewhat solid but have some rust in the panels near them. Does anyone make repo inner fender panels? Or have any links on repairing this area. Its not a show car but want to do the repair right the first time and not weaken the chassis in any way.

I plan on using it on the both the street and track (lightly, no real racing) so any advice on strength chassis for flex would be appreciated.

Nobody makes repair panels for that area.

I don't use the OE upper link mounts so I just left them like that. If you still d, it'd be a good idea to double-skin that area. IMO it'd also be a good idea to remove the link, drill through to the inside of the car, and bolt the link bracket to something beefy on the inside.

Thanks for pics Peejay. Mine do not appear to be some large but want to stop them from growing and make sure rear suspension point are real solid. Do not want to wreck due to lost of control from suspension failure.
