Exhaust overheat light, searched

I have no emmisions, i have stock exhaust manifold, to home made cat replacement pipe, its -25 C outside, driving my car for 10 minutes after it was cold, and the exhaust over heat light is faintly comming on, not really bright, but definately its on, can i just disconnect this sensor, or is there something else thats the problem here? Thanks guys.

If you dont have cats, you dont need to pay any attention to the sensor. (i think, someone back me up)

Mine always comes on, but i just ignore it.

I believe the sensor is under the carpet around the passanger side seat? It should be near the cat, or where the cat is supposed to be. I'm sure there's a way to disconnect the sensor at the other side though, try looking in the FSM. I dont' have mine right now(it's at home) but you can get it online!

Good luck

There is a connector somewhere under the carpet under the passenger seat. Just disconnect it. No problems at all. All I think its there for is to warn you of a clogged cat. A clogged cat will be hotter at opperating temperature than a clean one. A straight pipe through there would not give off nearly as much heat as a cat.
