exhaust with mindtrain and bonez

I've searched and read quite a lot about the mindtrain exhaust, and I think I want to go with the mindtrain catback with a bonez high flow cat(replaces all 3) right before it. Has anyone experienced this on their first gen?

i have a mindtrain header and i am very happy with it, and the guy who i talked to, i think it was fred, was really super helpful. he wouldnt mind answering any questions like that because he is an honest rotor head who wont be mad about you not wanting everything in mindtrain. They do have thier own high flow cat but its more expensive. I guess it would work but i would call up rx7.com first and exactly where there converter system ends up, unless you know(i know it sayas "catback" but the picture makes the thing look hecka long. But anyways i suggest finding the number for fred rather than ordering the parts online cause he is an awesome guy..if you get the bonez, post picyures cause no one else has..god bless

the mindtrain system i have i dont think would work with a cat, unless there were more than one mindtrain exhaust, because mine has a header, the a midpipe with two silencers, the over the axle where it splits to two, and then has two more silencers then the tips.

Here's a question: Just how durable, and how quiet, are the Bonez and Mindtrain systems? Several years ago I swapped an el cheapo aftermarket cat into my otherwise stock exhaust in order to pass emissions.

Even with everything else stock the exhaust was louder and grated on my last nerve. Two weeks later the glass inside the cat melted and the car became very loud. Any negative reports on these other systems?

they are both notoriously good products

im refabricating my whole exhaust system....i have a racing beat header, two into one, then im going to have the pipe come back alittle, then the bonez high flow cat, then stright pipe all the way back, then up and over the axle...with a sebring racing muffler....good stuff...also good hp gain somewhere in the 15 to 20 hp.... but i could be wrong, it might be more!!
anyway your better of refabing the whole thing in my opinion..that way you build it the way you want it..but thats just me....and i warn you if you do that be sure to get the thickest piping like 1/8 inch i think....cause if you get anything thinner the exhaust will heat up and start ticking on you....good luck...
