Exhaust gaskets
 

How come on mazdatrix the 12a exhaust gasket is 12 dollars and the 2nd gen turbo one is 60?! :mad:

For my 12a turbo I need to have:

12a engine <-> 12a exhaust gasket <-> 12a to 13b Manifold adapter <-> 13b turbo gasket <-> 13b S4 manifold Right?

get the mr gasket paper and make your own. its white and it can handle the heat no problem. also get some Copper Coat and it will seal until you unseal it.

The turbo gasket is copper. A nice expensive little piece.

All TII exhaust gaskets are pricey.
They arent paper or graphite/asbestos like the 12A gaskets.The TII's are copper/stainless/whatever composite and have to endure ridiculous torture to survive on that part of the engine.
I reused a couple old ones with good results until my S5 engine was ready.It came back from Mazdatrix with a full engine gasket kit,which thankfully included all the exhaust pieces.
