Well, pulled today and weighed. This is drained with no shifter on it or fork for t/o bearing. Exact weight on digital scale is 69lbs. Dimensions are as follows.
33x14.5x14.5. So when shipping, A box 35x15x15 should be correct. rx7doctor

69 lbs? Damn, now I know why my arms were so tired after I single-handedly installed one of these in my 1st gen several years back--- using nothing but four jack stands and elbow grease. Somehow figured it was only 35 lbs or so.

Come to think of it, a guy in the southern states used a 2nd gen (N/A) transmission for his reduction drive in his airplane, and it weighed around 35 lbs--- but that was because everything was stripped out of it except the components necessary to use 2nd gear as his propeller speed reduction ratio...
