Engine carbon locked and won't free up. Now what?
 

I can't get this summabee' to un-carbon lock!
Motor's been sitting for years, can't remember how many now but over 5 years.
The car was in a head-on collision, so the motor was good when the car got totalled.

I've put 5W20, 10W30, PB Blaster, and MMO through the spark plug holes, intake ports, and I tried/failed at putting it in the exhaust ports. The different lubricants were put in at different times over this past month and the motor hasn't been able to rotate at all.

Is this motor wasted? Is there anyway to pull it apart without spending mucho dinero and rescue it? The motor isn't in the car persay. It's sitting in my Toyota truck with the front clip removed.

In case it matters, it's a 12A from an '81.

Yup, been through the carbon locked procedure, but it won't budge at all, even with the breaker bar.
I appreciate the retitle to help me find more threads though!

Would it be any help to myself to tear the motor open?

If it has been sitting for several years, it may have rusted up inside. They can do this when they are not turned over every so often. Humidity in the air can condense into water inside the engine. Not a good sight.
