Send a PM to RX7Carl or Sterling. They do the mods to the carbs.

I had a Yaw carb many years ago.....it was awesome!!!Beyond all description when compared to a stock Nikki. The only flaw was a lack of a choke, but I was able to re-fit it and make the carb perfect.Throttle response was razor sharp, the 12A W/light flywheel would blip like a 2 stroke dirt bike.It had a nice kick around 4000RPM when the secondaries opened and it would wind well into 7000RPM, even with my 4 port 13B.

The mods were extensive,Yaw made many internal fuel mods that werent immediatly noicable. The obvious stuff was mostly around the venturi. He would grind off all the tabs, thin the throttle shafts down and use button head screws to improve airflow. In the past, most people would just hog out the venturi, which affected driveability greatly.Yaw did too,but it was minimal work, with the majority of the airflow being picked up from the aforementioned mods.My Yaw was flowed out at 420ish CFM.....stock I believe is 275CFM range.Yaw was a really nice guy,I spoke with him several times on the phone for advise. He knows his stuff and is very friendly, but I think he got overwhelmed being a 1-2 man shop.Plus,Im sure theres probably more $$ to be made with newer car perfromance parts.

I havent used one personally, but Sterling and Carl's carb is close if not equal.Im not sure if they reverse engineered the Yaw,or did theirs from scratch, but everyone seems happy with them.
