I have a pretty well damaged driverside fender that I'm going to replace in the near future. I would like to replace both of them with a nice set of fiberglass ones but im not going for the wide body look.

I can get some nice flares for you. They are a universal type which you trim down to fit your car.

Honestly, to save 2-4 lbs, and have wavy fenders that won't fit or finish out as well as the steel ones, it's not worth the effort. Go to the ISC racing site. They have the the weights of the stock vs glass fenders. The weight savings, to me, is not worth all of the extra body work, even if you could find stock glass fenders.

I understand your point. but when your shaving weight you have to admit that every little bit helps. It's not a matter of one big piece making a difference in weight savings it's all the little pieces that add up. 2-4 lbs a fender is actually alot in the total weight loss of a car. Also throw in the fact that I need to replace a damaged fender to begin with. Buy a steel fender or spend a few extra $'s and get glass ones. It's just that I have never seen a fiberglass fender for our cars that isnt a widebody.
I have two friends with Corrollas AE86's that have glass fenders and their fit and finish is exceptable to me. It was actually one of them that brought up the idea when we got the car home last night.

When I did the wide body, by the time I got the front fenders smooth and straight, they weighed just as mich as the stock ones, may be even a bit more. Front fenders are cheap from a wrecker, I have 1/2 dozen of them laying around here.

Granted, 2-4 lbs, here and there adds up. To me it becomes a point of if it is worth those couple of pounds for the cost and the effort. Now a fiberglass hood would be a good choice imho. Lose more weight and high weight at that.
