do you think this is legit?

was browsing and came across this steering wheel and hub. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

anybody ever heard of the brand or used one of these?

At 22$ it's china built low quality. Made for civic 'tuners'.

When the part doesn't even have a brand name, and it's going for less than an OEM horn BUTTON, it's time to walk away.

I own a steering wheel very similar to this one that i also purchased from ebay but has a re-amemiya horn. Imo it is better quality then my old grant wheel and looks alot better so you might think its ricer crap but i think my interior looks good dirty and unfinnished but good.

I know a guy who bought one of these cheapies for his toyota, I thought it looked like it was worth much more. I was gonna buy one then I came across a used d-shaped momo which I had to have.

I have what looks like the same one Chino has, but mind said it was a Bride wheel (lol.) I replace the BRIDE horn button with one that says MAZDASPEED.

It's definately an improvement over the stock truck-like steering wheel, and the smaller wheel helps correct some of the wondersteer in the car. The "leather" finish isn't great but it grips the hand well so you don't have to worry about slipping in the middle of a turn. The main gripes I had with it are the screws are useless and strip easy, and if you grab the top of the wheel and push or pull it will flex a little. The only reason I don't have it on my car right now is because I didn't like having a smaller steering wheel. The actual feel at speed was awesome, but it was more difficutl to turn when stopped and it was hard to see the speedometer since the smaller wheel covered it up.

Personally, I'm keeping an eye out for a nice leather S5 steering wheel. Stock size, the leather is nice, and it's not too expensive. I miss the wheel on my old 91.

they work great. eventually they break but they look nicer than some wheels i've seen i have a crazy ricer wheel right now. 320, D style

yeah i really am just looking for something to hold me over until i can afford a momo later on or come across a good deal on something else. but the stock wheel is in horrible condition and hugs my legs real bad as well.

yep, that's why i changed mine. destroyed the original in doing it. i have 2 chinese steering wheels, 1 a 290 the other a 320.

My seats are also from ebay like alot of the parts ive bought. It was a pita to get them in but i think they look great and theyre pretty solid. The passenger one take a nice fall down my steps all 24 off them luckily there was no dammage done, and as for the wheel i love the bootleg re-amemiya horn i think it looks good and i perfer it over my old grant wheel looks and and feels better imo and for the price cant beat it.
