Do the fusible links have anything to do with the ignition spark
im wondering if a fusible link went bad would it case me to get no spark, cause everything else electrically is working...
im getting no spark to my plugs and ive changed out everything, and im stumped |
pull em 1 by 1 and test em with a multimeter... only thing i can think of... if u get a infinite resistance reading they r bad, if u get close to 0 they r good...
|
I don't believe so, but shouldn't be too hard to verify if they're good or not...
I assume you've already checked out the coils and ignitors? |
I went to pull & save and found a set for free. When i pulled the middle one out, the car would not start. The ones on the left and right are for your headlights.

greg
run a wire from the battery's + terminal to both coils + terminals. this will give + to the coils. |
thx wacky, ill try that today
|
I just re-read my post. ok, before you do what I said, check the coils + terminals for voltage. If not, then do it and more than likely, its flooded now.
|
Greg, I told you to do that the other day online, didnt I? Im pretty sure I did, lol. Well, whatever, hope it works!
