Diff lock
 

Ok..... I wanna change my diff oil, but I see the lock isn't an socket its a rectangle kinda thing..what tool do I need to undo the filler plug????

its an 85 s3.

3/8 rachet with no socket

yeah, a 3/8's socket wrench head will work perfectly...

I thought you were talking about installing a locker in your differential :p:

My mom's 89 Mazda B2600i 4x4 has an electronic lock on the differentials... It's fun in construction sites in the rain.

Oh shit I'm stuck in axle deep mud. Hit the lock button. Power on through...

Damn thing wont corner for shit on the road with all 4 wheels locked together. But I guess that's self explanatory.
