well here it is, the cold air thingy, i used our plasma cutter to cut a hole in the metal right there and relocated the overflow by the passenger strut.

How do you post pics in the thread. I would like to show mine if I could, Home Depot heating duct and some cuts.

SS124A 01-16-04 07:41 PM

Okay, from this moment further I am banning the name or term "Home Depot"

I am a manager for one of their competitors and would really appreciate not seeing their named used or even supported by my fellow rotary people.

Steve Shulz 01-16-04 07:48 PM

Look man I searched ACE and Lowes and Home Depot was cheaper! I drive a RX-7 and shit for it isnt cheap so when I get the chance I like to save a buck or two. So Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot Home Depot
Now that thats over, do you know how to post pics in a thread?

SS124A 01-16-04 08:14 PM

That is total dis-respect.

More-over you are an idiot.

Tell the people at lowes that Home depot has something cheaper, and not only will they match the price, but also beat it my 10%

Seriously, I am severely irritated by your stupidity.

You could have just left the first part in, but going through and typing what i asked you not to, many times is rediculous..
What is your problem? You drive an RX-7, and believe it or not, parts for our 1st gens are cheap... (maybe you just don't know where to look) don't give others the impression that our (read your) demeanor is.

Steve Shulz 01-16-04 08:26 PM

Get over it man its not that big o deal. If I'm an idiot for saying that then your an super idiot for banning the word. And now I know where you work, so who is the idiot now? And BTW when I reply I'm not seeing it just submit reply and reset form, its there when I post a new thread. Man you really need to lighten up! I didnt type it that many times either I just ctl-c and ctl-v, do you think I would waste my time on you? I have beer to drink and actual folk with probs to help. Chill out dude, sorry if I offended you but the internet is the best place to slander anonymously! JK - Really I am sorry, just couldnt resist. Just dont call me an idiot you dont even know me! Wait till you know to call me that, fuck head will work in the mean time, damn!

Steve Shulz 01-16-04 08:32 PM

Sorry Tree25is, looks good, I will start another thread just to show how I set mine up, you did a great job BTW. One suggestion, I thought of this after doing mine, is that the snorkle is really small, so adding the extension made it harder for the engine to get air, like sucking air through a straw. Something to think about, colder is better though. I did find my shit really had icing probs after I did this. I had my hot air intake taped off so I had to remove that. I also found that the flapper is temp spring controlled so for true cold air it needs to be vacated.

The comp cams sticker on your fan shroud is funny.
