Cracked the trailing coil and lost the coil bracket spacer, what a pain.

When I got my 7, the battery was not very well secured.
I thought I had wedged it in there well enough. yesterday the battery came loose and I think it struck the trailing coil tower. The car suddenly wasn't running well and the tach was bouncing all over the place. I could figure it out. Then I started the car and noticed a big ol spark from the coil tower.
Any ways, when I was replacing the coil, I droped the spacer for the coil holding bracket into the coil holes in the fender.

How can I get it out of there. I know this has happened to someone.

Dont sweat it, and dont worry about it, just go to a hardware store and by a piece of tube steel... Or maybe there might be some washers thick enough to take care of it... When stuff like that happens to me, I wont spend 2 or 3 hours looking for something that probally will cost me 50 cents... :D Good luck...

That's all well and good but I'm the sort of person that would go insane knowing that the damn thing's rolling around in there somewhere. Hmm, I think that poster on the wall's a little bit crooked. :D

the damn coil will not stop arcing. I have replaced the coil twice and it hasn't gotten any better. This sucks. What could it be. I dont even think it is going through the tower I think the arc is traveling up the tower to the wire.
