Cool air rams
Hi all.
I was just looking at the pics of Pittdp's homemade cool air ram, (which looks pretty professional) and it got me interested. I don't know anything about these. Am I right in thinking that by having a tube that leads out the front of the car, cold air is pushed inside to the air filter, instead of using the warm air in the engine bay? Is that all there is to it - that the car's momentum pushes the cold air inside? Thanks ScruffyChimp |
yup. that is basically it.,.
the only problem that i have with a setup like that is that, if going through the stock intake hole on the air box, it is still fairly restrictive. i think that our engine really needs more air to breath. |
