Where can i find the Igniter? Sorry.

On the fb's they are little black boxes (2x2 ish) on the distributer, Not sure on SA's how it works with the points system. The FSM should say under the ignition section.

I have an SA so idk if they are the same. They i think they are under the dash somwhere. But it will be hard to find with all the other stuff under there.

What about the condenser wire? Where does it go? The wiring diagrams just say it goes out into space somewhere. I have no clue where 'Space' is.

On the '80, the ignitors are attached to a metal box near the coils. You should be able to follow the connector from the distribtuor to the box, but really the box is pretty large/obvious.

As others have said, the '80 ignition is unique. It was the 1st year for the 7 to have electronic ignition ('79s were points based). The ignitors are mounted on the box attached to the inner fender (81-85 have the ignitors attached to the distributor). Also a unique thing is that the SAs also only run trailing ignition part time. This is to keep a rich mixture in the exhaust to keep the thermal reactor 'lit'. The metal box that is attached to the ignitors contains the circuitry involved with running the trailing part time. Since teh trailing only works part time, the tach gets its signal from leading (later models get the signal from trailing).
