Clutch Problems

My car has been a garage car for a long time, about 10 months ago i bled my clutch, this allowed me to engage gears. now its starting to do the same thing again. could there be more air build up? how does air get in the lines? if i pump the clutch a few times, it then alows me to engage gears. does this sound just like air or something else? im going to flush/ bleed clutch tommorow. 2 more days untill (hopefully) its registered. btw thanks for all the help :)

It may be time to repalce the clutch master & slave cylinders, and the rubber line between them...

Its just as easy to bleed the system first to see if thats the problem. Likely you have a leak somewhere thats allowing air in at a very slow rate, a micro cut. Replacing your master and slave cylinder is extremely easy and takes only an hour or so. The parts about 150 dollers canadian. www.rockauto.com is a good place to order from :)

Based on other posts I've seen, it's recommended to change master, slave, & rubber line at the same time...

Absolutely. Its the most easiest. Besides, we all know they operatre on hydrolic pressure. If one is changed out, its brand new. So, Its likely the new pressure etc will put stress on an older one. besides, its not that expensive. Save yourself some time and trouble shooting to find which one is dead. Just replace em both
